About Us
cattle

In 1971, Don Bryan started in the Red Angus cattle business by purchasing two head of cattle at the Valley View Farm Red Angus dispersion sale in Hamilton, MO. He expanded his herd with his parents, Donald and Patty Bryan, through high school and through participation in the Paris FFA chapter. As Don attended college at the University of Missouri-Columbia, he gradually sold off his herd to pay for college expenses, selling the last of his herd in 1987.

In 2003, Don and his wife, Sheri, purchased two registered, first-calf heifers with calves by side to begin anew in the Red Angus business. The herd has expanded, and in 2004, their two children, Elizabeth and Mason, purchased their own registered, bred heifers, which had heifer calves in Spring 2005. Bryan Red Angus supports the Red Angus Association of America and encourages networking among members to promote and market this quality breed.
