We don't use commercial products for parasite control. As a result, we have larger populations of dung beetles, bees, turkeys, butterflies, etc.

We like the dams to calve on clean, green grass in the late spring. The air temperature is not a shock for the newborn calves, and the grass is of a good quality for the colostrum producing cows.
